FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

TICKET TYPES

All tickets are standard entries for 1 car with up to 5 passengers per car. During checkout, you will be asked to list the number of passengers, including children, as well as the size of your car. Only 1 ticket will show in the dropdown menu for the standard ticket type - to book for multiple cars on the same or on different dates, please complete a booking for each car separately.

AGE RATINGS

Each screening has its own age rating, ranging from U (Universal) to 18. Please check that the screening you are booking is suitable for all guests before you book. For further details on the UK age classifications visit the BBFC website.

HEALTH & SAFETY

You must not leave your car unless it is for an essential trip (for instance, to the washroom). You must not climb on the roof of your car for the safety of all guests and our team.

We will send you Drive-In safety guidelines via email and remind you before the start of the performance. It is important that you are not late. If you arrive after the safety briefing, we will not be able to admit you.

VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS

The following vehicle restrictions apply change your ride accordingly.

  • Not permitted are:

  • Bicycles

  • Motorcycles or scooters

  • Cars with trailer attachments

  • Minibuses (7+ seats)

  • Buses

  • Caravans

  • Long wheelbase vans

  • HGVs

WEATHER

You may experience temperature changes inside your cars during the screening. Please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, bring blankets, cushions, pillows if you want. To prevent a flat battery, avoid using your lights, heating, or air conditioning for the duration of the screening.

CAR WINDOWS

In the interest of your safety, please only open your car window on the right hand side of the car when needed. If you would like to get hold of a member of our team in a non-emergency, please use your car lights to attract their attention.

END TIMES

End times vary subject to the start time and the film. Please check the start and finish times in the checkout before confirming your booking.

OUR HOUSE RULES

We reserve the right to remove you from the Drive-In event if you are in breach of the House Rules which are outlined in the safety briefings you receive before and during your visit at the Drive-In

TOILETS

Bathrooms are available at the Drive-In. Please only leave your car if you need to use the bathroom, avoid leaving the car in groups.

Only parents accompanying a young child or a companion accompanying a vulnerable person may leave their car in a group of 2.

ACCESS ROUTE

To access the Drive-In take the access route to Carmarthen Showground take the Travellers Rest / Showground turn off from the A40 and follow the road to the end where you will see SFC banners wait at the gate until a steward opens gate and checks you in.

PARKING

For a swift check-in experience, we ask that you arrive as early as you can to the time slot and follow the instructions from our Front of House team on arrival to your parking bay.

DATES, TIMES AND PRICING

Screening times vary by weekday, please check carefully when booking. Gates open 30 minutes before the start of the film. The ticket buyer will receive an email with further details on their allocated time.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

FOOD & DRINKS

This is Street Food Cinema and delicious hot and cold food, as well as soft beverages, joes ice cream and pop-corn will be available to buy at the Drive-In. Menus and availability may vary by screening. Orders will be taken via an online system and delivered to your car once you have settled in. We won’t take cash but accept card payment.

Further details on how to order will be sent via email to the ticket buyer before your attendance. (We do not sell booze beverages)

ARRIVAL TIME & LATEST ACCESS TIME

It is very important that you are not late, If you arrive later than the latest arrival time (15 minutes before for your screening start time, e.g. 18:45 for a 19:00 start), you may miss the mandatory Drive-In safety briefing and will not be permitted to enter.

Do’s & Don’ts

  • Do not record any of the film with you cameras or phone

  • Do not bring weapons of any kind (including replicas), controlled substances, or animals to the Drive-In. Contraband items will be confiscated or discarded, and you may be asked to leave without re-entering.

  • All payments for food and drinks must be made online via the order app or contactless machines with our ushers.

  • Please do not leave any rubbish behind and make your way to the nearest exit as quickly as possible at the end of the screening as guided by our stewards.

ACCESSIBILITY

COMPANION TICKETS

We provide free companion tickets for all guests with blue badges, recipients of DLA/PIP, and Freedom Pass holders. If you would like to attend with a companion, please contact us on matt@streetfoodcinema.co.uk before booking. A member of staff will be in touch with further details on how to book your free companion ticket and answer any questions you may have regarding your attendance.

COMPANIONS & SAFE DISTANCING WITH CHILDREN

As a companion or a parent with under age children, you will be able to leave the car in a group to go to the bathroom. We ask you to maintain social distancing at all times when interacting with other guests and/or our team.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

A totally delicious Drive-In experience will include:

  • A Safety Briefing for you and fellow passengers

  • Loud music and noises as part of the screening

  • Pre-Show radio entertainment

  • A full film screening

  • Accessible facilities in walking distance

WHEELCHAIRS

The Drive-In is designed as a car-based experience that does not require you to leave your vehicle to enjoy the event. The screening will take place on hard-standing ground and if you would like to reserve a parking space close to the accessible facilities, please email us on info@streetfoodcinema.co.uk to let us know.

PREGNANCY

The event will not be physically strenuous, however please bear in mind that you must feel comfortable sitting in your car for a number of hours.

terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all Street Food Cinema events (“Events”) provided by Something Creatives & Street Food Circus LTD trading as Street Food Cinema (the “Event Provider”). On purchasing one or more tickets to an Event you agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and your guests at the Event.  Personal information provided as part of the booking process will be used by the Event Provider to administer the Event you are attending and to provide you with information about other Something Creatives & Street Food Circus Ltd events. The Event Provider will supply information about the Event at the time of booking (‘Booking Information’), which may include additional terms relevant to procedures, behaviour and/or conduct regarding attendance at the Event. This information will be specific to the relevant Event and will/may include the following:

  • The date of the Event and the nature of the Event location or venue.

  • Any health restrictions, warnings or guidance which are known at that time and which will apply at the Event.

  • Whether the location or venue is accessible to wheelchair users or other less able-bodied customers;

  • Whether age restrictions apply to the Event and what those restrictions are; and  

  • The identity and contact details for the Event Provider’s ticket agent for the Event.

In the interests of public health and safety, the Event Provider reserves the right to update or impose health restrictions, warnings or guidance at any time and by any means available to it (such as on the website or at the Event itself) and which will apply in connection with admittance to and behaviour at the Event as the Event Provider considers appropriate, taking into account any circumstances which exist at the time or in response to any guidance from the Government, Public Health Wales, or any other governmental or judicial authority.

Ticket Purchase

  • Tickets are sold via an online booking agent and are subject to the agent’s terms and conditions of sale and to the agent’s booking and administrative fees levied at the point of sale. The Event Provider is not responsible for and does not process, handle or receive the booking and administrative fees and any complaints and/or queries relating to booking and administrative fees – or the booking process should be directed to the booking agent.

  • Where the Booking Information states that an age restriction applies to the Event the Event Provider will operate a strict ID policy. To gain access to the Event ticket holders must produce a valid form of photographic identification. Accepted forms of identification are UK/EU/International Passports, National Identity Cards and Valid Driving Licenses. Please note that only original documents will be accepted as proof.  Refunds will not be provided to those who are not admitted to the Event as a result of failure to provide acceptable identification or who do not comply with the applicable age restriction.

  • Where the Booking Information states that a health restriction applies to the Event, for example in the case of a pandemic, the Event Provider may operate an appropriate health check system (such as a temperature check) and social distancing rules before entry is permitted.  Refunds will not be provided to those who are not admitted in the event the Event ticket holder fails to pass the Event Provider’s health check or fails to comply with stipulated conduct and behaviour at the Event.

Refund and Cancellation policy

  • No Refunds. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable, subject to these terms and conditions, on cancellation of the Event by the Event Provider. Tickets cannot be exchanged or returned except in the case of manifest error by us or our agents. It is your responsibility to check that the information contained in the acknowledgement of order and the tickets is accurate. Tickets may not be, resold, reissued or transferred to any other person. They specifically may not be used as rewards or competition prizes. Unauthorised resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation. Tickets remains the property of the Event Provider and are a personal revocable license which may be withdrawn and admission refused at any time upon refunding the printed purchase price.

  • Event cancellation. In the unlikely event of our having to cancel an Event entirely due to licensing, lockdown restriction, other legal restrictions or for safety reasons then the Event Provider will provide notification of the cancellation to the contact information provided by the ticket purchaser. On cancellation, the Event Provider will offer ticket holders the opportunity either; (i) to exchange their tickets for subsequent rescheduled screening of the chosen film post lockdown restriction or (ii) A credit will remain on our system for the ticket to be used at a future Street Food Cinema screening within 6months of the cancelation. This option must be exercised within 2 weeks of notification by the Event Provider of the cancellation.  Booking fees or other charges levied by the ticket agent are not refundable. This is the Event Provider’s sole liability to ticket holders in the event of cancellation.

  • We do not offer a refunds due to lockdown restrictions being put on the event provider by Welsh Government it is at the risk of the ticket holder that as we are operating in a pandemic the date of an event maybe cancelled and rescheduled, the film will be shown at a later date when lockdown or legal restrictions lift or a credit put on the system for attendance of a future SFC event within 6months of the rescheduled screening date.

  • Disruption. No ticket exchanges or refunds will be given if the Event or the opening or start of the Event is disrupted or delayed for reasons such as security or safety alerts, traffic incidents, adverse weather conditions and strike action. The Event will commence or continue as soon as the Event Provider is reasonably able to do so.

Location and venue

  • Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue which are available from the venue when advised.  Breach of the venue’s rules and regulations, breach of these terms and conditions or the Booking Information or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall entitle the venue or Event Provider to refuse admission or eject you from the venue without refund or compensation. This includes failure to comply with any reasonable instruction given by the Event Provider or the venue.

  • The venue may conduct security searches to ensure the safety of patrons and may refuse entry to individuals and cars found with contraband

  • We encourage you to purchase food and drink at the event we have options for all tastes by supporting the traders you are also helping this small independent venture happen.

  • No trading or promoting is allowed within the venue without the express prior written permission of the Event Provider

  • Strictly no smoking outside the car.

  • No animals except guide dogs are permitted.

Publicity

  • Ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording as participants in the Event. Recordings may be used for promotional and marketing purposes by Something Creatives Ltd and its partners.

Liability

  • The Event Provider is not holding itself out as an authority on public health regarding the incidence and transmission of any virus.  We will follow guidance from the Government and Public Health Wales (or local or judicial authority) and take such steps as we consider appropriate in the circumstances, and we shall look to comply with such guidance, for example social distancing.

  • However, it is each Event ticket holder’s sole decision whether to attend any Event knowing the risks associated with how easily a virus may be spread and knowing the health advice and recommendations issued by the Government, Public Health Wales, or any  local or judicial authority. The Event ticket holder is responsible for their own health and safety and cannot solely rely on the measures put in place at the Event by the Event Provider.

  • The Event Provider’s liability to any person in relation to the purchase of tickets for any Event or in relation to the attendance of that person at any Event shall be limited to direct loss and/or damage actually incurred. In addition, the Event Provider’s total liability to such person shall not in any circumstances exceed the value of the ticket for the relevant Event purchased by or on behalf of that person. We shall not be liable for any special or indirect loss or damage irrespective of whether we have been informed of circumstances where such losses might be incurred. The Event Provider does not attempt to limit or exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that or our employees or agents and any other liability that may not be limited or excluded by applicable law.

  • It is the ticket holders responsibility to be aware to ensure they follow all current local and public health Wales guidance when booking:

General

  • No variation to these terms and conditions shall have effect unless in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Something Creatives Ltd

  • These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law, and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
